The F1 engine, built by Rocketdyne Inc., equipped the first stage (S-1) of the enormous Saturn V rocket. Was stacked with other 4 engines like it to form a 5-engine incredibly powerful device capable to lift-off 3,000 metric tons of the missile. It pushed the man to the Moon in 1969.
